Shane Rose: Owner, Manager and Head Rider

Shane is a very experienced horseman with over 20 years experience in the industry.  He is an accomplished competition rider and is an Olympic Silver Medallist from the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games for the discipline of Eventing.

Shane loves working with young horses and helping them fulfil their potential.  He uses his performance horse skills to better educate the breakers and pre trainers. 

Shane has had much success working with horses that have issues including barrier problems.  Shane particularly enjoys breaking in young horses and feels it sets the foundations for a young horses career.

Niki Rose: Owner, Office Manager and Rider

Niki is also an experienced horsewoman who has represented Australia Internationally in the discipline of Eventing.  Niki enjoys producing young horses for Dressage and Eventing.  When Niki is not riding she can generally be found in the office looking after the administration side of the business.

Michelle Robson: Groom and Rider 

Michelle has been with us for over 7 years.  Michelle is a graduate of the Horse Management Course at Marcus Oldham College.  Michelle is herself a success competition rider that has produced her horse to two star level.  Michelle is very knowledgeable when it comes to racehorse facts and figures.  She knows the life story of nearly every horse that comes through our front gates.  Michelle has also been our travelling competition Groom and has accompanied horses to the World Championships in Germany, Burghley CCI4* in the UK, Olympic Test event and the Beijing Olympic Games which were held in Hong Kong.

In 2009 Michelle was awarded the FEI Groom of the year.  Michelle had to compete against grooms from all over the world, a fantastic achievement for Michelle.

Michelle has a lovely young horse named Eastern Star Capone that she is producing for Eventing and Dressage competitions.

Rachel Watts: Groom and Rider

Rachel joined the team in 2006 and is also a graduate of the Marcus Oldham College Horse Management Course.  Rachel competed up to two star level with her last horse who has now been sold on to teach a junior rider the ropes.  So Rachel in now bringing on a lovely TB horse 'Duncan' and a former Bimbadeen Pre trainer 'Final Avienge'.  Rachel also has a very good knowledge of the thoroughbred industry.  Rachel normally takes on the Property Manager position whenever Shane is away.

Soigne Jackson: Groom and Rider

Soigne joined the team at Bimbadeen Park in early 2011.  She has spent the last two years training with and working for Heath and Rozzie Ryan at the Newcastle Equestrian Centre.  Soigne assists with working the racehorses and general grooming work.  Soigne is a successful eventer and has brought with her 'Gold', her 3* event horse and 'Mercury' an exciting young horse

Laura Barclay: Groom

Laura joined the team in 2010.  Laura is an experienced horseperson and assist with all stablehand work.  Laura is the only staff member that does not live onsite, she lives next door.  Laura has her own horse that she is training for Dressage competitions.

Gordy Pratt: Rider, Groom and Maintenance Man

Gordy started at Bimbadeen Park in 2011.  He has previously worked for Heath and Rozzie Ryan.  Gordy assists Shane will the racehorses and has ambitions to be a high level event rider in the future.
