A prestigiously bred son of imported Irish Sport Horse, ARD BLACK CAT and out of NOBILITY an elite stud book Hanoverian mare imported from Germany.

Novalis has been bred exclusively for Olympic pursuits, and has embarked on his eventing career with Shane Rose.  Thanks to a fabulous temperament, outstanding ability and trainable nature Novalis has romped though the grades with success all the way.  He is currently competing at three star level. 

His disposition reflects the legendary Irish temperament combined with the movement and technique of the German Hanoverian line.

This exciting young stallion is one of very few stallion that have had success at Advanced level eventing, he was the winner of the Camden Advanced 3* class in 2008, the same year he won the prestigious Adelaide 2*.  Novalis also beat a field of over 130 starters to win the Australia D & C grade class at the 2008 National Showjumping Championships.

Novalis now has his oldest progeny out beginning their careers and they are off to a flying start.  Statford Neo at just 4 years of age was a winner at the Scone CNC and 2nd at Berrima Pre Novice in 2009.    His progeny are looking to have athletic ability combined with a wonderful temperment making them lovely horses to work with.
