Sydney (19-20 February 2005)

Over the weekend the Bimbadeen Team competed at our first Eventing competition of the season.  All the horse (and riders as well) were a little rusty after the long Christmas break.

Shane was placed 2nd in the CNC*** on his National 'A' Squad horse 'All Luck' just 0.1 behind Heath Ryan who won the competition on 'Flame'.

'Gandalf the Grey' had a solid start to the year finishing 4th in the CNC*, this horse will compete two star at his next
start.

Shane's young horses 'Dios' and 'WP Jack Flash' competed in the Prelim class and showed potential for the future.

Niki rode three horses, 'Strawberry Kisses' went well and will move up to Pre Novice next start, 'Hazelton Park Han Solo' also went well to finish just outside the placing's.

Niki's star horse 'Ladybrook Remington' jumped one of his best showjumping rounds but did not perform up to his normal standard in the dressage or cross country, no doubt he will be in better form by next start.

Bimbadeen staff Cissy Lawrence and Michelle Robson both had Prelim starts on their new horses both performing well in all three phases.

We are looking forward to a successful and busy season.  Our next start will be at Camden 5-6 March.
