Darcy is the most experienced of Shane's team of horses. Having competed across the world including at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, he has had particular success at Aachen CHIO finishing in 2nd place individually and as part of the winning Australian team in 2016, and finishing in 3rd place individually and as part of the second placed Australian team in 2017. Darcy is known around the stables as being a slightly cranky old man, which makes everyone love him even more. His nickname is Fluffy due to his coat's extreme fluffiness, he is close to being the hairiest horse alive and but his coat is not thick, just fluffy!
