Calypso was purchased from Cooley Stud in Ireland in 2023 as a green 5yo. He always showed enormous potential and he has risen through the grades with many wins along the way. Originally ridden by Niki who produced him through to 3 star level, together they won the Melbourne International Three Day event at CCI2*-L level. Calypso was named Overall Champion at the Wallaby Hill Young Horse Festival. In 2026 Niki (reluctantly) handed over the reins to Shane.
Caypso has all the attributes of a top class horse, stunning type, wonderful paces, bold & scopey jump, athletic ability, a huge gallop and winning attitude. We are very excited about the future with this horse.
