Smokey was trained as a racehorse by Matthew Smith but unfortunately for his connections he was not very fast. He came to Bimbadeen Park to see if he has potential as a performance horse. He had his first eventing start in 2011 and won (Intro Sydney CNC). He then placed 4th in the Prelim at Albury and 1st in the Prelim at Silver Hills. He has also won at a Dressage competition. He is developing into a lovely horse.
